Faith Formation
“Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation;[a] the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (PreK-K)
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is our faith formation program for our Pre-K and Kindergarten students. The program is framed by Montessori elements following the liturgical calendar. Students engage in independent work through carefully chosen materials prepared by the catechist. The catechist begins every class with scripture.
A CGS environment is characterized by contemplative prayer. A student's concentration leads him or her to contemplation. From that space, spontaneous prayer can spring forth from the children as they learn to love the Good Shepherd, finding Jesus in the silence.

Faith Routines (PreK-6th)
Our greatest impact on the lives of families is found in our steadfast commitment to the faith formation of our community. Yes, that is primarily focused on our students. However, through shared programming and intentional adult formation, our parents, teachers, and staff experience growth in their faith lives as well. The liturgical seasons of the Catholic church guide our instruction. The following programming achieves this.
K-6th Grade Mass - Twice each week.
