Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to share an important update regarding student cell phone use in our Catholic schools.
As you may be aware, the State of Kansas has enacted a new “bell-to-bell” law that will require schools to prohibit student use of personal electronic devices during the entire school day. In response, we are developing a diocesan approach that both meets this requirement and supports our mission of forming the whole person—spirit, mind, and body.

I invite you to read the full letter outlining these expectations and the vision behind them at the link below: A New Chapter for Our Schools: "Bell-to-Bell" Cell Phone Expectations.

This change represents more than a policy shift. It is an opportunity—one that calls us, as schools and families, to work together in helping our young people develop healthy habits, deepen relationships, and grow in their faith.

As always, thank you for your partnership, your trust, and your shared commitment to forming disciples of Jesus on mission.

Gratefully,
Geoff Andrews
Superintendent of Catholic Schools
Diocese of Salina

Good morning! Just a quick reminder that your child’s Teacher Appreciation keepsake page is due this Friday, May 1st. This is a special opportunity for your child to share their appreciation for the teacher who makes a difference in their life. Please have them complete one page, place it back in the envelope, and return it to the front office. We sent home two sheets—one as a backup if needed, or to complete an additional page for a specials teacher or staff member. For additional copies, feel free to reach out to Ashley Howard at jahoward13@live.com. Thank you for helping us make this meaningful for our teachers! ✨🌈
