Important Update: SCS Families, we are very excited to announce that Love N Learn Early Childhood Center's Preschool and PreK programs will begin Monday, December 9th! Please expect increased traffic from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. from here on out. SMGS drivers, please expect slightly longer drop-off lines. SH drivers, please consider using Albert Avenue as your point of entry to avoid as much congestion as possible. Dear Love N’ Learn Families, We are pleased to announce that we received our amended license on Thursday, December 5th, and are excited to begin offering preschool and pre-K programs starting Monday, December 9th, 2024. We understand that some families may prefer to wait until after the holidays or need to provide their current provider with a two-week notice. All preschool and pre-K families, please contact Ms. Jacobs via email at your earliest convenience to inform her of your child's start date, as well as their anticipated drop-off and pick-up times. This will help us plan for meals and staffing accordingly. Drop-off and pick-up times are outlined in the table below. All students will enter the building through the doors beneath the green awning. To celebrate the reopening of our newly renovated facility and the addition of these programs, Father Kevin will join us on the first day for a blessing of the students, families, staff, and the facility. We invite you to join us for this special event at 7:45 AM on the sidewalk in front of the building.

This development is a great relief! The local licensing specialist submitted all required paperwork to the state on December 3, 2024. We are now awaiting the state’s issuance of our license. Once the license is granted, we will be able to officially launch our preschool and pre-K programs! It was a pleasure to meet our preschool and pre-K students during the recent "Meet the Teacher" night. The presence of your family in our building truly energized our staff. They cannot wait to work with your children! As our opening date approaches, we are continuing our search for qualified staff for our toddler and infant programs. We kindly ask for your continued prayers that compassionate individuals will join our team, enabling us to open these classrooms. We eagerly anticipate sharing additional updates, including our official opening date, in the near future, and extend our heartfelt wishes for a blessed Advent season to you and your family.

We are thrilled to share that we received Office of the State Fire Marshal occupancy approval yesterday, Monday, October 23rd! All required documents were submitted to KDHE after receiving the official approval documentation. We will continue to update you as the licensing process progresses.
