Due to inclement weather, our 2026 Art Competition will be moved to the SMGS all-purpose room for the entire week of Catholic Schools Week (1/26-1/30). Parents can come in during lunch or after school to vote on their favorite artwook in all 4 categories:
PRK, KDG-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th.
Winners will be announced the following week.

SMGS: Knights of Columbus is hosting a Free Throw Shooting Competition on Thursday, January 15th @ 3:30pm in the SMGS Gym for Boys and Girls ages, 9 through 14, as of December 31st 2025. Registration forms have been sent home with students, extra copies are also available in the SMGS office. The deadline to signup is Tuesday, January 13th. Thank you!

Together with our three Salina parishes, we are beginning a prayerful and intentional process to strengthen St. Mary’s Grade School and deepen our shared Catholic mission. As we look ahead to a faith-forward future for our students and families, we invite you to join us for a series of Listening Sessions this January.
Your voice and perspective truly matter. These sessions are designed for us to share our hopes and ideas as we discern together our path forward. Listening Sessions will take place during Catholic Schools Week, and we encourage you to attend a session and join the conversation.
