I have been pastor at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Parish for over six years now and have had the privilege of having St. Mary Grade School under my care as well. Over my 29 years of priesthood, I have been assigned to 3 parishes, all of which had a grade school attached to them. I have always found that the administration, faculty and staff are exceedingly dedicated to their profession and truly love educating and serving the students in their charge. A strong aspect of that love is their deep commitment to their Catholic/Christian faith and their desire to share that faith with the children. If you have or are planning to choose St. Mary Grade School for your child’s/children’s education, I believe you will be very glad you did so. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the foremost teacher in all aspects of a Christian’s life, and you will find that He is the preeminent teacher at St. Mary Grade School.
